Thanks to Andrew for some really good pointers.

Sketches, Rumblings, and Whims

Witch? Queen? I say both.

I love drawing slimy things.

A wonderfully wet and slimy value study.

Little Cave scene WIP. It had a monster in it, but I took him out. But maybe, just maybe, he'll find his way back in there. :)

Some 'drawrings' from this evening

A speed painting of a landscape I did today. Probably about 20 mins or so.

This is a concept for a sea-monster borgish thing. I wanted to make him covered in sores and a distended belly. No surprise there. I think infected things make something that much more interesting. You don't want to look at it, yet you can't stop. :)

UPDATE:
Been hammering out more details on this guy, and modified his color scheme a big. Wanted to try to avoid the borgish green I had going on. I decided to go with a mustard/brass sort of color scheme.

Final:

burBle burBle it says.

BarZhon

Character portrait for the Starflight game I've been working on for a while. I like the colors I was using, but I think I could have made him more dynamic pose-wise. Thoughts and crits are welcome.

Old Sketch

Dug this out while cleaning up some folders. Some early painting work that I don't think ever got finished 'cause I moved on to other stuff. I may have to revisit this...

NeanderLaw

NeanderLaw is an idea a few friends and I came up with one day in an odd conversation about neolithic justice. Ultimately it spawned into several hundred hours of ideas and scenarios which we hope to turn into a game. So these are the baby thoughts of what should, hopefully, eventually be just that. :) Let me know what you think...
